The bracelets are well made and do what they say they do. I bought the pair for me and my son since we enjoy hiking together. I found the fire starter easy to use - generated quick sparks relatively easily. The compass works fine - you have to remember to unbuckle it or the metal starter interferes - gave pretty much the same readings as a much more expensive one! The paracord is useful to have for if you ever need it.
